Since we are not a registered charity and there are no financial incentives to donate to our efforts, we very much appreciate the philanthropism we receive. Donating to Hopeful Homesteaders allows us to maintain and expand our conservation efforts, provides the needed funds for housing and maintaining retired stock, and moves us closer to the aim of being able to provide a sanctuary for rescues and adoptees.

Community Support
Whether you donate to provide support for medicines, to help finance a retiree, or to aid us in our conservation efforts - we truly appreciate it. Ethical farming is not profitable and, in fact, comes with significant costs and financial risks.
The price of compassion
At Hopeful Homesteaders we self-finance the majority of our conservation efforts in order to provide future generations of farms, 4H participants, and pet lovers with rare and endangered breeds.
Hungry bellies and big hearts
Are we crazy to pour our savings into grain, hay, and supplements for livestock and poultry that will never be profitable? Probably. But we know the right thing to do sometimes requires sacrifice - and support.
